Scholarship Opportunities

To be eligible for a Summer Camp Scholarship the following criteria must be met:

  • Parents applying for camp scholarships for their children must be eligible for “free and reduced price meals” from their resident school district. The school building principal’s authorizing signature is required on the grant application to verify that the parent meets this eligibility criteria.
  • Eligible applications are public school age children with special needs, having an active special education individualized educational plan (IEP).

Applications for the summer of 2020 will be available in December of 2019.

 

 

 

Our Mission:

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Education Foundation (MCIUEF) is a broad-based, non-profit community organization, whose exclusive educational and charitable purposes are to provide programs, projects, and services to benefit the children of Montgomery County. The MCIUEF is run by a board of directors and supported by staff from the MCIU. We proudly support children of all ages with diverse needs.
