Fall Social and Silent Auction

Each November, the MCIU Education Foundation hosts the Fall Social & Silent Auction. Due to the immense popularity of last year’s event, we have changed our venue to the Empress Room in Blue Bell. The event is a great opportunity to celebrate a fun evening and help raise money to support the students of Montgomery County.

Attendees enjoy socializing with co-workers and friends, dining on a catered meal, and enjoying a live comedy show. There is competitive bidding on more than 50 silent auction items, raffle baskets and a 50-50 raffle. The Foundation also raises money through an online auction that runs the week before the Harvest Social event. It’s a great way to help a good cause and get a head start on holiday gifts!

Comedy Night & Silent Auction featuring Chip Chantry

Chip has traveled the country opening for acts such as Dave Chappelle and Bob Saget. Besides performing, Chip currently works as a segment producer on NBC Universal’s “Crazy Talk” television series.

The Montgomery County Intermediate Unit Education Foundation (MCIUEF) is a broad-based, non-profit community organization, whose exclusive educational and charitable purposes are to provide programs, projects, and services to benefit the children of Montgomery County. The MCIUEF is run by a board of directors and supported by staff from the MCIU. We proudly support children of all ages with diverse needs.
